Eucalyptus globulus, commonly known as southern blue gum or blue gum, is a species of  flowering plant in the family Myrtaceae. It is a tall, evergreen tree endemic to south-eastern Australia. Australian indigenous populations had many uses for eucalyptus trees. They used the wood and bark to make tools, spears, shields, and musical instruments. Leaves of certain species were soaked in water to make a healing tea. Read more about Eucalyptus
